With hydrogen we will achieve Switzerland’s climate goals for road traffic

Europe wants to become the world's first climate-neutral continent by 2050. The members of the European Union and also Switzerland committed to this in the so-called Green Deal in December 2019. Hydrogen will be an indispensable building block of the envisaged energy transition. The good news is that the necessary technology is available and mature. Green hydrogen, i.e. hydrogen produced in a climate-neutral way, is indispensable as an energy supplier for cars and trucks to decarbonise transport.

For this reason, H2 Solutions GmbH was founded. The aim of H2 Solutions GmbH is to expand the hydrogen infrastructure in Switzerland and other European countries.

H2 Solutions provides turnkey and profitable solutions for the production, use and distribution of hydrogen.

In a first step, H2 Solutions focuses on the expansion of a filling station infrastructure in Switzerland. The range of services offered by H2 Solutions covers the entire value chain - from the initial feasibility study (business case) to the construction of the plant (including management and coordination of all companies involved) and regular maintenance and repairs.

Why?

Hydrogen - the most common element in our universe - is present in bound form in almost all organic compounds. It has the lowest atomic mass of all elements: it is 14 times lighter than air, neither toxic nor corrosive or radioactive, does not ignite itself and burns with a colourless flame without leaving any residue.
